The 2018 International Conference on Radar, Antenna, Microwave, Electronics and Telecommunications (ICRAMET) will be held in Serpong, Indonesia on November 1st - 2nd, 2018*. The conference is an annual event organized by Research Center for Electronics and Telecommunications, Indonesian Institute of Sciences (PPET-LIPI) that aims to bring together researchers, scientists, engineers, scholar students and practitioners interested in the advanced technologies of communication and electronics including Remote Sensing and Radar System, Antenna Devices and Techniques, RF and Microwave Theory and Devices, Electronics Materials, Devices and Components/Circuits, Wireless and Wired Communications, Signal and Image Processing Techniques, and related topics. The ICRAMET provides a forum for exchange of information on the state-of-the art research within all of the related topics as well as aims to build and strengthen scientific cooperation among the research institutions. The ICRAMET is as a part of Indonesian Science Expo (ISE) that is initiated by the Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI). The 2018 ICRAMET is also technically sponsored by IEEE Indonesian Chapter.

Dr.-Ing. Hutomo Suryo

Dr.-Ing. Hutomo Suryo Wasisto was born in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. He received the Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering (Cum Laude) from the Gadjah Mada University, Indonesia, the Master of Engineering degree in Semiconductor Engineering (Cum Laude) from the Asia University, Taiwan, and the Doktor-Ingenieur (Dr.-Ing.) degree in Electrical Engineering (Summa Cum Laude) from the Technische Universität Braunschweig (TU Braunschweig), Germany in 2008, 2010, and 2014, respectively. He was a postdoctoral research fellow at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, GA, USA, in 2015-2016. Since 2016, he is Head of Optoelectromechanical Integrated Nanosystems for Sensing (OptoSense) Group in the Laboratory for Emerging Nanometrology (LENA), Braunschweig, Germany. His main research interests include nano-opto-electro-mechanical systems (NOEMS), nanosensors, nanoelectronics, nanoLEDs, nanogenerators, and nanometrology. He has published more than 70 papers in international scientific peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings as well as two European and German patents. Since 2016, he has been an initiator and chief executive officer (coordinator) of the Indonesian-German Center for Nano and Quantum Technologies (IG-Nano), Braunschweig, Germany.

Dr. Chao-Sung Lai

Dr. Chao Sung Lai received the B. S. and ph. D. degrees from National Chiao Tung University, Hsinchu, Taiwan, in 1991 and 1996, respectively. In 1996, he joined the National Nano Device Laboratory, Hsinchu, Taiwan, where he has been engaged in the research of SOI devices. He won the Lam Award 1997. In 1997, he joined the Chang Gung University and Tao-Yuan, Taiwan, as an assistant professor, where he has been engaged in the research of the characterization and reliability of deep-submicron MOSFETs, nitrided thin gate oxides, shallow trench isolation and the modeling of dielectrics’ reliability. He was the consultant of the Nan-Ya Technology Inc. for the 0.18mm Logic-Team since 1997. In 2001, he visited the UC-Berkeley in the department of Electrical Engineering for sabbatical research under professor Chenming Hu in the Device Group. He was the consultant of the Nan-Ya Technology Inc. for the Flash Memory since 2001. He is a professor and the chairman of the department of electronic engineering, Chang Gung University from 2006. He is the director of Bio-Sensor Group for Bio-Medical Research Center at Chang Gung University from 2007.
